GABR XXXI – Day 2 (2026)

Summary

Day 2 our first day of driving is split into two set sections getting us through to lunch. The day will be departing from Pioneer Park in Clare and heading West through Blyth for a short stop at Lake Bumbunga — one of South Australia’s most accessible and striking pink lakes, situated right next to the small town of Lochiel. After a short rest and some photos, head South down to the township of Balaklava for morning tea. View Day 2 – Section 1 map here:

After morning tea we continue South East down to Hamley Bridge where we turn North via Stockport then on through Tarlee, Riverton and Saddleworth until turn off at Manoora to our lunch destination at Magpie & Stump Hotel in Mintaro. View Day 2 – Section 2 map here:
