GABRXXXI Day 2
The first leg of our journey was split into two distinct sections that carried us through until lunch. We departed from Pioneer Park in Clare, heading west through Blyth for a brief stop at Lake Bumbunga. It stood out as one of South Australia’s most accessible and striking "pink lakes," located right alongside the township of Lochiel. After taking a moment for photos and a short rest, we traveled south to Balaklava for morning tea.
Following morning tea, we continued southeast toward Hamley Bridge. From there, we turned north, passing through Stockport, Tarlee, Riverton, and Saddleworth. At Manoora, we took the turn-off toward our lunch destination: the historic Magpie & Stump Hotel in Mintaro.
